Before testing an individual for a belt, I first put a length of time I want them training and absorbing information with consistency.

Requirement For Each Stripe: 108 Points (Classes)
- 1 Point for each structured Class.
- You lose a point for each week you do not attend a class!
- If you choose to compete, each bracket entered counts as a point.
- You must meet the point requirement before starting the objective requirements.
Objective Requirements Overview
- Blue Belt: points may only be earned with blue belts and above.
- Must be earned with at least 3 different training partners.
- Must be earned during a live round.
Stripe 1 Objectives: Side Control, Knee-on-Belly, Kesa Gutame, and North South.
Objective 1: 25 submissions (No Gi)
Objective 2: 25 escapes (No Gi)
Objective 3: 25 submissions (Gi)
Objective 4: 25 escapes (Gi)

Objective 1: 25 submissions (No Gi)
Objective 2: 25 sweeps/back takes (No Gi)
Objective 3: 25 passes (No Gi)
Objective 4: 25 submissions (Gi)
Objective 5: 25 sweeps/back takes (Gi)
Objective 6: 25 passes (Gi)
Stripe 3 Objectives: No-Gi Open Guards
Objective 1: 25 submissions (No Gi)

Why these requirements?
Blue belt builds on the foundations from white and green belt and opens to distal controlling positions. It is here where we expand to include sport guards and positions that leave the self defense realm for development.
It is expected that students will continue to train in both Gi and No Gi in order to develop.
